Craig Estlinbaum, of counsel to Wadler, Perches, Hundl & Kerlick, is a trial lawyer, mediator and retired judge who brings diverse experiences from both sides of the bench to the firm.
Craig’s practice at Wadler, Perches, Hundl & Kerlick focuses on mediation & arbitration, civil trial & appellate litigation, governmental affairs & public policy, real estate law, wills & estate planning, probate and family law.
Craig served for 20 years as judge of the 130th Judicial District Court where he presided over family, civil, juvenile and criminal cases. He served as Local Administrative Judge for Matagorda County during his tenure.
Craig received appointment as adjunct professor of law at South Texas College of Law in 2004 and teaches there periodically. He is a sought after legal educator and writer, having given presentations at seminars, conferences and symposia hosted by state and local bar associations, judicial education organizations and law schools.
Craig was in private practice before taking office, first in Houston then in Bay City. Before attending law school, Craig worked for six years as a commercial real estate appraiser in San Antonio.
Craig lives in Bay City with his wife, Julie, a high school teacher and former four-term city councilwoman for the City of Bay City. Their daughter, Shelby, is a Texas A&M PATHS graduate and works for HEB.
